Basic Handgun Safety Course

Student Information

2nd Thursday after the 1st Tuesday of each month

4th Thursday after the 1st Tuesday of each month, 

6:00 PM - 09:00 PM  

The cost for this course is $60.00

For the person who has never had formal handgun instruction.

The course covers:

• Firearm safety rules and etiquette
  How to select and purchase a firearm
  How to select proper ammunition
  How to accurately shoot a handgun
  How to field strip and clean a firearm
  How to store a firearm and ammunition
  

Students can bring their handgun and ammunition, or they may rent one for $5.You must use our ammunition in our guns. The cost of ammunition is not included. At least an hour of the class will be spent on the range, so bring or buy as much ammunition from us as you would like to shoot during this time, or you can  pick up and ammo you may need while here at the armory.

Space is limited to ten people in this class, to make sure everyone gets adequate one on one attention with the instructor, so make your reservation today.

To reserve a set in this class you must pay in advance of the day of the class. We accept major credit cards by phone.
